Looks like a new meso is forming on the Jacksboro storm.

66/63 when it hit Jacksboro. Not very high of a temperature for what I suspect was a possible EF3+ tornado.

Actually T/Td were even slightly lower than that for the Iowa EF4 early this month.

Hopefully, this cell drops no funnel (only radar-warned ATM). A tor moving through the DFW metro at rush hour is the stuff of movies.

This one should miss the metro just to the west and north; and fortunately the cells to the immediate SW of the metro look fairly messy at this time. Let's hope they stay that way.

The storms that are forming just South of Hamilton (West of Waco) are making me a little nervous for the DFW metro.

Also, what’s going on Southwest of Austin is a little concerning as well.

I'm glad that the southern batch of storms has fired up just east of San Antonio. My father-in-law (and one of his sisters, my wife's paternal aunt) live there. He has a host of health issues; and lost power during the big Texas freeze-up of early 2021.

A strong, damaging tornado is crossing the Red River into Oklahoma. Same supercell that produced the Jacksboro/Bowie tornado(es).

This looks like a monster couplet at less than 1,000 feet, but I think it's some sort of ground clutter artifact. It hasn't moved with the storm's reflectivity signature in three scans. Even so, Seguin and the I-10 corridor need to watch out for this storm! Big hail, at the least.
