What is it with PAH and delaying these TORE's until the literal last minute? They had PLENTY of time to issue a TORE for Mayfield and now Benton. There is simply no excuse for this.

Honestly I think there's so much of a stigma against being sensationalistic and "overblowing" an event that a lot of offices swing in the opposite direction and remain conservative even when it puts lives at risk. I'm all in favour of being conservative with forecasts even day-of, but when it's obvious that there's a significant severe weather outbreak going on then that sort of restraint in the warnings needs to be put aside.

I think it might've gone just north of downtown Benton. Unfortunately there still looks to be quite a lot of buildings there.

I think it lifted and quickly cycled once, the current tornado touched down just south of the TN/KY line.
