Severe WX Severe Threat 25 March 2021

Storms out west are certainly beginning to look more organized.

Rotation ramping up rapidly near Berry, that's headed close to Jasper in a bit.

this shelby county storm is headed right towards my house right by (intersection of cahaba valley road and eagle point parkway). considering getting in my car and making a dash away from it down highway 280 to the east.

just sayin... it missed my house by about a quarter mile. i have neighbors that have lost their whole home.

The motion on Copic's stream was just absurd. Hasn't come back for me either, and I'm pretty sure Ohatchee did in fact take a direct hit.

Glad you are safe. While getting in a car to get out of the way certainly isn't recommended for the general public, for those that have adequate lead time and a general understanding of these types of storms, it can be the right decision.

That storm looks mean. FFC just released a new AFD and they're sounding more concerned about threat this evening-tonight, including potential for strong/long-tracked tornadoes.

yep. i had 30 minutes lead time and an escape route perpendicular to storm motion. it was a no brainer.

I-is that a second TDS (west of the first)? It's been consistent over the last few scans.
