There's plenty more instability down to the south. This is far from over.

I am going to disagree. While there is a lot going on, the main event is the third round. I haven't seen anything to say that the third round will not occur.

I'm not a meteorologist but I don't think so, I have concerns about leftover boundaries being conducive for tornado development later this evening as severe parameters will remain extremely high. Even without those boundaries the atmosphere appears volatile tonight.

main event is ongoing. what else would you call 5-6 tornado warnings at a time centered around the high risk area? we probably have 6-8 hours of this to go in central alabama. there will be plenty more warnings but there's not going to be a break between what we have now and the main event. this is the early stages of it. the focus is clearly over areas from southern mississippi northeastwards into alabama. it will continue for many more hours.
