I'm still very concerned about the mid-morning round. If the warm front can get north fast enough you will have the storms rapidly become surfaced based supercells with 1500-2000 cape and probably the highest helicity of the day. People need to be aware of this possibility for their commute, which BMX did a good job a pointing out.

It's because it is coming in slower. More time for inland progression of thermosHelicity looked a little less in some areas on 20z vs 19z and then highter in a few areas. CAPE progression was further north on 20z vs 19z. 21z is running now. SIGTOR for the early morning round was definitely higher on 20z vs 19z for many places.
Brax, will you continue to post these radar loops as the HRRR updates. That would be very helpful to me. Thanks in advance!

Will that lower the threat?I know it is still early, but it looks like the storms along the gulf coast are getting an earlier start than models show

Unless it builds significantly further westward, not sure it'll block moisture transport and warm front progression northward. But yeah, I don't remember models lingering that convection in the NE Gulf.
I saw that but now we have a warning in the panhandle. The HRRR has been showing it today, moving eastward tonight and then new convection building northward overnight
