Hey, experts: I’m curious on what’s happening here. I’ve noticed this gap has been steady as these storms have moved east thru MS. I see some outflow on the edge to the west, but it’s not closing the gap. I’m intrigued.

Yeah I’ve noticed that area ALWAYS gets hit, usually when things seem to be trending down. Also round 2 may be starting. Tornadic supercell likely forming near Gainesville, AL.
