Severe WX April 11th-13th, 2020 Severe Weather Threat

Temperature here in McCalla has increased by 2-3 degrees in the past 20 minutes or so. The dewpoint definitely has as well. It feels downright warm and sticky outside and about a half hour ago that humidity was not nearly as intense as it is now. Seems the warm and moist air advecting in behind the warm front is continuing to do its job.

Brett Adair is getting in position for the 2nd storm. Brad Arnold’s stream looked bad. That storm going through Blunt County has been going all day. Definition of long track.

i am in mccalla also about a mile away from Tannehill. it’s 76 and 71 where i am.

this is not really what i want to read now. i’m afraid it’s going to be a long, long night.
So, cells will form in La, move NEward through S. Ms, feeding on a rich tornadogenic environment, and enter Alabama in potential beast mode. This pattern will repeat itself for the next 4-5 hours?

Been pouring here for hours and yet it's passed 70. Suspicious cell headed for Fayette watching real closely

The initial supecell that caused the violent tornado doesn't currently look all that impressive. It had every indication of being a long-tracker, so I wonder if it is just recycling or there is something else the cells are encountering as they move NE.
Looks like it’s cycling. Meso is still going on the storm

Threat is lessened in that part of the TN valley imo. Still want to watch things until the stormsclear though which is still a few hours away for you.
It looks like Florence has been stuck on the edge of the stronger stuff all day and into the evening. I'm hoping it stays that way.

It looks like the twin supercells from earlier are starting to struggle with the cap again as they get into air that's not quite as warm at the surface. They seem to turn left and start to die as they get to the MS/AL border, doing the exact same thing as they get to the same location. Shifting focus to the Raleigh, MS supercell, and the LA elevated convection that looks just like the twin supercells did before they moved into MS.
