Please stay safe!
Couldn't access the forum earlier and now it seems things have really popped off this evening...
It is past me now. Still an issue for points east.

Tornado warning Madison County.
I live by the Tennessee River in south Madison County. It was quite a spectacular sight to see the wind and rain shift drastically towards the main updraft which was about 5 miles away per radar.
Even though things things don't always look "textbook" you should never let your guard down.
I didn't tell my wife about the storm until it was past Decatur even though I was watching it constantly since Tishomingo. Better not get the household anxiety level too high too early lol

My daughter lives near Grissom High School. She said it got really noisy and then the power went out. They were taking shelter in the hall. Thank goodness it was a little south of there.

lots of power outages around here. Our power flashed but never went out.

the cold front is just past Memphis. It may not ramp back up but the NWS isn't dropping the tornado watch yet either.

Not too surprising. One can make a case for EF2 based on drone damage shots of damaged homes but am not on the ground looking at it in person.
