Not going above freezing here today. Has anyone saw any snow flurries?

Wait... what kind of weather warning would that fall under...

Post from NWS Miami via James Spann concerning "Falling Iguanas" in cold temps.

Well here in NW Arkansas we had a good snow/sleet/rain mix. Naturally, because I live and work in Fayetteville and Springdale we got mostly rain but Bentonville and Rogers (less than 15 min away) actually had a little accumulation. My bubble continues to keep me from having fun in winter weather.

Really disappointed in the SPC on this one. There was zero indication of this threat in their severe weather outlooks on what should have obviously been a 'high' threat for falling iguanas. Huge bust on their part. :D

Not quite dead yet!

Too bad it doesn’t effect Pythons the same way. It may but there good at hiding in the undergrowth and it the thick trees so if they went catatonic they prolly wouldn’t fall just lay there until they recover.

Well the iguanas are invasive too. It would probably be an opportunity to get rid of some of them humanely but I guess they aren't that...

What a crappy winter so far. We're getting some light snow/flurries ATM but the ground is so wet it's not sticking. Most I've seen at the house is a thick dusting on a few occasions. We've yet to hit single digits as well. Plenty of rain though, almost 10" on the month so far.

Maybe some snow showers/flurries tonight. Memphis has issued a WWA for parts of North MIssissippi and Tennessee.
