We've gotten some huge fluffy flakes in South Huntsville this afternoon. It's starting to stick pretty good too. Looks like we're going to get a decent accumulation.

We had sleet for a long time here in Bremen, AL (Brushy Pond), but now it's finally changed to snow and is sticking to the ice that has already fallen. It's pretty small, but definitely snow!

Still 43 and rain here. Our snow chances have actually gone down a good bit, so that's encouraging.

There’s a tiny little layer of snow on my truck and nothing on the ground. Yay!

We are having some fun in NW Arkansas. Current temp here at the office is 33 and we've had rain all morning. Thankfully no issues on bridges yet.

Still 35 and rain here. This gets my vote for the worst possible weather (aside from like the -20F wind chills when I lived in Michigan). These are the days where I really dread the mile or so I have to walk to/from the train.

Call me crazy but, I'd take 35 and rain over any August day in GA! The older I get the less I wish for snow! But I still love the cold weather. Glad your travels were not slippery.
The bad thing about DC is it does this in the winter but isn’t really much cooler than Georgia in the summer. Worst of both worlds.
