2019 College Football Season

Rumblings that CBS is letting ESPN having first picks including LSU/Florida and then LSU/Auburn along with a few other things (likely $$$) in order to move the LSU/Alabama game to primetime. This will very likely be a top 5 match up determining who goes to the SEC championship.

I would say there counting a lot of unhatched eggs. LSU might put up big numbers against Florida and Auburn but they might not. Georgia wasn’t supposed to lose to LSU last year.

Both are in Tiger stadium. Florida is a revenge game. Gus is hamstrung with a young QB and suspect secondary in likely an even more hostile environment than the Swamp. LSU wins both as much as that pains me to say.

You may well be right. I think Gus hamstrung his own freshman QB I don’t think he called a good game when his defense was playing well enough to win and getting turnovers. LSU May be the real deal I’m just skeptical. If they win both games then I’m on the bandwagon. Maybe.

Mushchump and Kirby tried to see who could out bonehead the other in the 4th Q and OT of the USCe-UGA game. Kirby ended up winning the bonehead contest and Mushchump won the game.

LSU has jumped to #2 in the AP poll behind #1 Alabama. That LSU vs. Alabama game in a few weeks will be a epic one.

Sign of things to come in Tuscaloosa. Seriously glad everyone is okay.

Although Bama won yesterday, I was surprised to see that Tennessee came to play and didn’t roll over like many thought they would. Meanwhile, Tua has a high ankle sprain and will miss a couple of weeks, which fortunately is Arkansas and a Bye.

Game of the Century Part 2 will be a 2:30 CBS game. You’ve got to be kidding me.
By contract no choice. From what I have been reading I did not get the feeling CBS wanted to give up everything they did to ESPN the last time they made an agreement to move the game

Yep, CBS screwed the pooch on selecting ND vs GA as the primetime game. Although, hindsight is always 20/20, I didn't think LSU/Alabama would be 1 vs 2 (most likely). Could be worse. We could be stuck with Fox Sports and their match up of the day being at the noon/11am timeslot!

I believe in 2006, #1 Ohio State and #2 Michigan was at 2:30 PM Central on ABC. LSU eked by Auburn today and Alabama is blowing out Arkansas so unless anything crazy happens, it should be a 1, 2 Bama/LSU game November 9th.

AP poll now has LSU at #1, Alabama at #2, Ohio State at #3.
