Barack Obama presided over a nearly $1 trillion reduction in the budget deficit, from $1.4 trillion to $585 billion. By the end of his first term, Donald Trump, who bankrupted 5 casinos, will have almost entirely reversed that with a deficit of $1.1 trillion by the end of 2020.

The same guy and party that passed a law that fined Americans for not buying health insurance and now that same party wants to give it free to illegal aliens.

Why should states get more electoral votes and more house members for having more illegal aliens?

Because Article I, Section II of the United States Constitution requires apportionment to be based on [the] "whole Number of free Persons."

All arguments for/against apportionment being based only on citizens or legal residents are irrelevant. The Constitution requires it, and if anyone wants to change it they'll need a Constitutional amendment to do so.

Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons. The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.

All they had to do what not act crazy, but the Democrats can't help themselves. The leftward flank of the party is pulling a Trump. Embrace our divisive policies and rhetoric or we'll stay at home.

This woman will literally do and say anything to advance her career.

Matt, are you saying you have a problem with people who will say and do anything to get elected or advance their status?

*head explodes from irony*

Perhaps no one here has noticed, but I never comment on things involving AOC because I consider her to be the Democratic Party's own version of Trump. Best way to handle her is to ignore her.

That said, I just couldn't ignore this one...

Pretty sure I fractured a rib from my guffaws. Hey, even I'm not immune to a little bit of Trump-style humor.

Trump does not control the purse strings.
Trump tries to run the country like he has run his businesses... borrow other peoples money and then when you fail, play the bankruptcy card to bail your butt out of the debt you owe. Play the good ole boy game with your rich cronies but screw the common people. Corruption personified.

This is no longer the law as it was amended in the 14th amendment but that wording still makes you correct. Still highlights the need for immigration reform.
