Bama Bama Bama....Bama may/may not beat UGA in Atlanta but I think it is totally crap that CBS already said that Bama can lose and still be in the playoff/final 4:mad: If UGA beats Bama why does Bama still go??

I must’ve missed that segment, when they were talking about playoffs earlier in the game they made it pretty clear if Clemson/ND/Michigan win out, they are all 3 in, and the winner of Bama/UGA would be in.

Were they talking about getting two teams in if others lose?

They had to cut Gary off before he was finished, but eventually he came back and quickly added that a one loss Bama team would be a fly in the ointment.

Saban needs to file an official complaint with the SEC offices because that officiating was trash last night. It was obvious they caved to the LSU smear campaign and those refs need to be yanked from officiating the rest of the year.

LOL UGA is not beating Bama. I'm still wondering how they allowed 36 points from that abortion of an offense LSU fields...

So, I don't think you need to worry about that scenario.

This is the exact moment I realized LSU was going to be blown out. You can't come in too hot, you just can't.

After Bama beat LSU, the announcer said that really Bama is just playing for a seed because they could afford lose a game and still be in as they were last year with one loss.

Ah. I wasn't paying attention by then apparently. It'll just depend on how the other teams finish out, IMO. If Notre Dame or Michigan drops a game, I'd think a 1 loss Alabama would still get in.

Why is Bama struggling against the Citadel today?

Triple option teams can be tough to defend when you come in unmotivated.

I think Bama's offense only had 3 possessions in the 1st half. Appears they got the point at halftime.

It played out fairly similarly to the Ga Southern game in 2011. As soon as I heard they run the option I knew that they'd be a thorn in our side for at least a quarter so and they managed to stretch it out to just past halftime.

What's actually got me unhappy is the amount of dumb penalties we had. I think we had at least 2 or 3 just atrocious unsportsmanlike fouls, and against an FCS team that's frankly just embarrassing, especially seeing Dylan Moses, one of our leaders on defense, get called after he just flat out dirtily slammed a player into the ground. I hope Saban runs this team into the ground this week, because if Citadel can get to our heads that's going to be a major issue against Auburn and Georgia since those two games will be a lot more emotional than this little cupcake.

I didn't see the last two because I had flipped channels once it was out of hand, but the one on Moses was ticky tack at best. He slung a guy off of him that was blocking after the whistle, but as usual it is the one that retaliates that gets the penalty. He probably earned it, but he hardly "dirtily slammed a player into the ground".

This OU-West Virginia game is just disgraceful.

Kyler Murray has no Heisman argument going up against defenses as paltry at this.

Both teams are on pace to be in the 60-70 range by the end of the game.

To no surprise, Alabama beat Auburn in the Iron Bowl 52-21. What is surprising is that Auburn was actually competitive for the first half. Tua took a few snaps in the 4th quarter but was pulled midway through and Jalen threw for a touchdown.

What time did the LSU vs Texas A&M game end? I heard that game went to 7 overtimes.

Greg Byrne will not be removing Dixieland Delight even though it was apparently not done right during the Iron Bowl yesterday. According to twitter he got quite a kick out of it and it will remain a fixture going forward.

They should’ve known this was coming. It was not clean and could be heard throughout the stadium. But it wasn’t on TV, so no fines.
