That strong storm is Lala

The Central Pacific forms a storm for a third year in a row, with Potential Tropical Cyclone One-C becoming Tropical Storm Lala not too long ago.

This one should briefly become a hurricane as it nears the big island, weaken a bit due to an interaction with a ULL, and then restrengthen again as it clears the islands and heads toward the WPAC basin.
