I know it's an extreme example and a bit of an outlier, but this is a prime example of why you don't hyper fixate on risk categories/colors/levels. Just because your location may be on the periphery of the risk area, doesn't mean you won't be subjected to significant impacts.

We are in the tornado watch oooo (but Omaha isn't?!).

Hopefully we get a line of storms at most without supercells, I think the storms are supposed to congeal up quickly up here which should mostly eliminate the strong long track tornado threat.
