That looks fake, and if it isn't then it's not Bloomington; that storm was highly rainwrapped.

No, I'm not even sure it was down yet when the photo was taken. Was definitely taken at the very, very beginning of its life though if it was otg. It was very Morton-esque while it was down (the debris cloud was visible but the funnel itself wasn't); I don't know if it ever fully condensed.

If it's about Chicago & Midwest Chasers (still can't see the embed) it's disgusting behavior. Luckily Illinois is an all-party consent state regarding audio recordings so he is screwed as I'm pretty sure the family of the victim is going to sue. We can't normalize stuff like this; there wasn't enough outrage when Jordan Hall did it last May. Recording people when they are at their most vulnerable (and possibly severely injured) for a few extra views is absolutely insane.

It's far from the first time he's been documented doing clownshoe behavior, though the chasers rushing to his defense are equally grating to me.

The people defending it should also be held accountable! It what world can a storm chaser film dying people, post it on their personal page in the hopes of getting a few clicks and get away with it? I'm usually on the side that media showing people in the midst of tragedy can be uplifting (ie that one Barnsdall photo of the kids walking down the street) but not when they're being carried out of a car by EMS personnel.

DIs are now being added; two EF0s have been confirmed (one near Edgewood; unlikely to be the one that injured the people in the car). They're currently going down the line and adding DIs from the Flat Rock-Robinson tor.
