no snow in the forecast here thankfully but a nice crisp wind chill of 10F. glad I don't have any reason to go outside tomorrow.

Yep - lots has to change for this to be about much for anyone though, to be honest. Dustings, far SE, unless it decides to really crank a low in the gulf. NAM is - well, it's the NAM. Right often enough that you can't ignore it completely, but wrong too often to forecast off.

Oh wow, my first one of these of the year and in a while but not surprised as gfs has had this timeframe down for days now....
Would not be surprised to see the Slight Risk of Heavy Snow be extended south into the Northern portions of the Deep South
Looks like there's a decent amount of moisture in the cold side of this one. Flurries as the front passes seem likely.

There is a Winter Weather Advisory out for central Georgia.
If it snows where the models say it is going to snow, it's going to be a really wild swing in the weather for those folks.
The euro seems less convinced it is going to do anything even in SE GA - cold chasing moisture. Still drops some on the back side, but with as wet and warm as the ground will be after today, I'm not sure I believe it will stick as much as the "Kuchera Method" would imply.

Every southern storm has its kinks… but this one flipping around so much got me dizzy !! I would definitely not want to be a met for this one!! Pretty much a nowcast storm!

Central GA still seems to be good.. but SE Alabama could be in play all the way over to Atlanta on the Western edge.. I’m on the GA AL border.. currently rain just stopped and sitting at 41 degrees

It looks like the snow is mostly on grassy surfaces and not sticking to the roads.

Roads are too warm here. Further SE, I imagine the greater rates could, at least temporarily, force some light road accumulations
