Hurricane & Tornado Anniversaries

This one happened very close to where I lived at the time. I was looking out a bedroom window towards the area where the tornado was occurring. "High-end F4"...another one that might've been EF5 today.

Fun Fact: Had Monette and Mayfield been one tornado as was originally assumed, the path length would've been slightly over 257 miles.

I do remember tracking that one on here. Old Kingston was an absolute beast (with impressive live footage from AL-DOT cameras) and yet another tornado that was almost certainly stronger than its 150 MPH EF3 rating at some point in its life, although there was nothing obviously overlooked or missing in the survey. The subsequent evolution that resulted in multiple strong tornadoes in close spatiotemporal proximity near Griffin, GA was something to behold, as well.

I remember tracking that day also (before my days here). Quite a long track for Jan.
