right big kudos to brandon copic and ryan scholl any update i saw someone in a discord server that there were people who were able to make it to their storm shelter before the tornado but sadly their house got damaged unfortunately but im super glad that those people are safe and sound i hope there can be further confirmation on that

This discussion for today went from 60 to 0..

The beginning of today didn't...really go as forcast. Instead of the wind bag outcome we had a prolific tornadic supercell and a few other on/off tornado warned storms. Quite an interesting outcome from a forcast standpoint.

Also, some of the chaser shots were absolutely beautiful. Especially of the first tornado.

The dakotas @Ozonelayer are freakin nuts this summer. We are lucky we are STILL getting insane chaser footage in almost August. Just insane…

Thanks @Brice W im just utterly blown away we still have this happening.. we had that tornado of decade jus mid June in NE and honestly I’ve lost track of everything since.

Been a couple months since I've posted. Have been enjoying my summer before going back to school in a couple weeks. Haven't kept up with anything weather related since the end of May.

Something about derechos always intrigue me though. Excited to start following hurricane season as well despite the quiet start.
