This article has an absolute boatload of storm damage pics from Michigan. Huge swaths of downed trees on cars and houses, torn off metal roofs, damaged homes, etc. This is just to say, regardless of the tornado threat today, these QLCS and MCS systems will still be significant. 280,000 people were without power in Michigan last night by the time I went to bed. Anyone who has experienced 70-90 mph sustained winds (outside of hurricane regions) knows how serious it is. These are the types of storm impacts you remember for the rest of your life. I think most weather youtubers and a lot of enthusiasts don't realize that.

This radar hole in SE MO/NE AR has been incredibly annoying this season

It's on KSGF and KLZK. The storms to the north seem to be doing the same thing. I don't know if it's just the anvil but I've never seen another storm do that on radar before.

It's just the anvil being pulled far from the parent storm. If you look at satellite, it matches up perfectly.
