April 20th 2025 severe threat

Anyone notice LZK is doing something a bit odd? They appear to be putting groups of supercells under blanket severe thunderstorm warnings to cover the hail/wind hazards from those storms, and issuing smaller TOR polygons within that as they see fit.

I wonder if it has something to do with staffing challenges created by *ahem* recent politics, because it doesn't seem like a good practice. Not only will large areas within the SVR polygon not even experience a thunderstorm, but the use of the verbiage "severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from..." within the SVR text to me implies a linear convective mode, and thus a more minimal tornado threat.
