Severe WX April 3-6 Severe weather

You know your reputation as a weather guy precedes you when your mother's hairdresser sends you a text asking for your input on a tornado warning she's under. I was happy to help. She lived through that EF3 that hit northern Madison County during the March 31 - April 1 outbreak in 2023.

Thankfully after tomorrow, there will be no severe weather imminent for a long time. These states will have time to recover and catch their breath which is the one thing they need right now.

It’s been such a wild couple of weeks of weather and I can’t even imagine how exhausted some people are with it.

@Clancy when is the next general timeframe of the next severe weather event likely to occur? I’m hoping not for another while.
Big storms should stay away for a little bit, but beyond that there's no guarantees.
