What's the threat looking like for Central AL at this point? Local mets are too focused on Russellville storm to say what our threat is looking like.
 
Yes, really surprised and underwhelmed by the way this event is playing out. Was not expecting the cluster/HP mode.

I gotta wonder why what was clearly lining up to be a discrete-cell event instead became an HP mess. Hopefully the data being gathered by that NOAA P-3 would help with that.

That Elkmont storm is very impressive...donut hole presentation. TDS on that one too.

Yes, that is more the character of storm I was expecting today. Looks like the Moulton/Hartselle cell might be shaking off the trailing portion of the cluster that has been raining into it, as well. There's still time and people shouldn't let their guard down.

Last few frames shows stuff is quickly firing over Lamar and Marion, but so close together I wonder if it'll just add to the line segment
