Severe WX Severe Weather Threat 3/14-3/16

Yessir. Born a proud Scotsman!

Wow, nice to know there is another one of us on here! I spend quite a lot of my 'weather time' thinking about setups in the US given the weather in this country is so boring, but thankfully so too - every time a bad event happens I get reminded of how I grateful I am that we don't see this kind of destruction. Even if it does mean I am excited by simple thunder haha

The United Kingdom is truly a pretty boring place for weather, but everytime I go back to visit, it is truly nice having a break from all the chaotic weather back in Texas!

Both of Ryan Halls live steams have over 3million views each, I can’t help but wonder how many lives were saved due to these streams.
Both our meteorologists in Iowa didn't catch the Greenfield tornado until it was in the middle of town because of the complex way it cycled right before hitting. They were focusing on a completely different cell. Ryan Hall was warning it 10 minutes ahead of time and completely focused on it. I gained tons of respect for him and Andy that day.

Andy is like the tornado whisperer

Going through these loops just reminded me again how properly cyclic all of the supercells were. Especially the Bakersfield supercell, at least 3-4 tornadoes along the track length, including some with relatively high end radar signatures. And we have heard nothing out of these areas, bar Bakersfield. Think we could continue to see intense damage come in for the next week.
