Fred mentioned the models a few days ago showing a national news headline making threat. It appears we're there again? Starting to get that sinking feeling in my stomach.
One run does not a certainty make, of course, but that the models are even throwing this out as a matter of possibility certainly gives me some pause.Fred mentioned the models a few days ago showing a national news headline making threat. Especially after the 18z run started hinting at bad stuffOne run does not a certainty make, of course, but that the models are even throwing this out as a matter of possibility certainly gives me some pause.

Now we got the icon moving this direction alsoEspecially since they keep doing it. A random model that chooses violence can be overlooked, but when they keep coming back to it... it makes me nervous. I know if I lived in Marion County or Limestone County, Alabama I would go out of town next weekend, because history is not on your side.
naaah bro, "Oh Lord"Asked my weather related GPT for it's interpretation of the latest GFS run:

Maybe not necessarily to that extent, but some of this data hasn't necessarily stepped away from a significant tornado threat. The details with trough evolution are still somewhat all over the place though, although there are some basic ideas becoming consistent... one thing that is starting to become consistent is that the low-level moisture may not be as limited as some day had been showing. This threat isn't anywhere near dead yet. It's just still not quite to the caliber it was looking like a few days ago, and likely won't get back to that level again.... but it doesn't need to in order to still be a potentially significant event.Fred mentioned the models a few days ago showing a national news headline making threat. I've been telling @UncleJuJu98 to get one for 3 years now! @JPWX I don't have any problems in winds upwards of 30mph with my Mini2, holds steady and gets great shots, only problem I have is it drains the battery a tad quicker.I have a DJI Mini 2. My only problem with using it more is because most of our storms end up coming in at night. Too much wind is the other big issue. Other than that, I highly recommend getting one.
