If you live in the south, have MULTIPLE ways to get alerts and updates (weather radio, AND cell phone apps to start), and take SAFE action if a warning is issued for your area.

People have smoke detectors in their homes (bc it’s the law I think ), even though their houses don’t burn every year, but wont prepare themselves for severe weather that occurs several times a year by getting a weather radio (a “smoke detector” for bad weather).

Yeah I think I was just not understanding that graph, if it was talking about just the Florence area or the surrounding county or what.
