Yeah I think I was just not understanding that graph, if it was talking about just the Florence area or the surrounding county or what.There is no way to EVER tell what is going to happen 100% until it happens. There just isn’t. Predicting the future is complicated (think of peoples sports brackets).
If you live in the south, have MULTIPLE ways to get alerts and updates (weather radio, AND cell phone apps to start), and take SAFE action if a warning is issued for your area.
People have smoke detectors in their homes (bc it’s the law I think ), even though their houses don’t burn every year, but wont prepare themselves for severe weather that occurs several times a year by getting a weather radio (a “smoke detector” for bad weather).
