They were illegal one minute and with the stroke of a pen three hundred thousand had TPS the next minute. This happened many times. No vetting whatsoever. And you're okay with that. I'd like to see people who defend these procedures deported with them. Preferably to Yemen.

Local pastor found guilty of safety violations related to operating 24/7 for homeless

"The local pastor criminally charged for letting people sleep in his church overnight while violating safety codes was found guilty on Tuesday.

Judge Kent North ruled that Dad’s Place pastor, Chris Avell, is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt for violating fire codes. He called the evidence almost overwhelming.

Judge North sentenced him to 60 days in jail, with the entirety of that time suspended as long as Avell remains complaint with fire codes. He’ll have to make sure there are no violations in the next two years. Judge North ordered him to pay a $200 fine along with court costs, and placed a hold on the implementation of the sentence and fine for the next month.

Pastor Avell did not wish to provide a comment in court on Tuesday, but his attorneys did say they plan to appeal the decision.


“No pastor in America, including Pastor Chris Avell, should be pronounced guilty for providing temporary shelter to those in desperate need,” said Ryan Gardner, Counsel for First Liberty, a non-profit law firm representing Avell. “Only government officials could say with a straight face that people are safer in the sub-zero temperatures on the street than inside the warmth of a church.”"

Kiley estimates this would save California $6.5 billion per year; in January 2024, the state expanded Medicaid enrollment to include all illegal immigrants.

This is a step in the correct direction. Many people think illegals don't get medicaid but Congressman Kiley says that is not true.

Appreciate you posting two articles that confirm exactly what I previously stated. The Biden administration did not provide Medicaid to illegal aliens as they are ineligible under federal law. States choosing to provide health benefits to illegal aliens using state dollars has absolutely zero to do with the federal government or the previous administration's failures on illegal immigration.

Can't speak to the others for sure (though it's likely the same), but Lutheran Social Services is a completely separate organization from the various Lutheran synods. Any money they get stays with them and doesn't feed back into any of the synods. The synods/individual churches do send LSS money.

This is just a ridiculous claim not at all based in reality.

Connecticut created an entirely new witness protection program as a result of Adrian Peeler executing the son and his mother in their home - to cover up a different murder as a part of his drug ring.

Biden set this man free, effective July.

Hint: It's not Mexicans. Or Canadians.
 
Let us note that Elon Musk is not an elected official or otherwise approved via the democratic process to be in charge of any sort of governmental department. Let's also note that "DOGE" is a temporary thing set up by executive order. Additionally, let's note that Musk doesn't have a top-level security clearance and has been failing to report his movements as required for his security clearance since 2021.

So with that all in mind, he's running around, trying to take control over the federal government and dictate how it be run, contrary to the constitution, which requires these things to be done via the legislature.

There's a very specific word for this kind of behavior. It's certainly not something that should be happening in a democratic republic by people who supposedly support the rule of law.
