Severe Weather Threat 5/25-5/26, 2024

I wonder if we’ll see a QLCS form in Arkansas where the tornado warned cell is. Convection starting to form sporadically from north to south along the same line

Couplet is impressive but the hook looks not so impressive. Looks like it may be congealing into a line, or at least trying to. If it absorbs the cell to the SW it could remain discrete/isolated.

00z hrrr had a nasty supercell forming ahead of the QLCS and going through southern TN around the Columbia area. Interested to see if that verifies later

That storm near Augusta Arkansas is probably already producing and on the ground, there is a small drop in CC co-located with the couplet
Was just about to mention this. Very small but it is present. Good thing is that part of Arkansas is very rural.

Overnight simulated soundings across N AL look concerning, even if stuff congeals into a line there's hints of isolated cells out ahead and RAP, HRRR, and NAM all have a pretty decent environment to keep things spinning well into the morning if strong updrafts remain active. Long night ahead for many
