What are STPs and is a 6 good or bad in terms of if we get severe storms? I'm located right in NW AL.

Midway, TN cell has finally cleared its inflow
Means that the environment is theoretically conducive to severe storms should they form. That being said, it's not a given that they will develop just because of favorable numbers.
Significant tornado parameter. Anything above a 2 means ingredients are there for sigtors.
