Listening to Kalamazoo County on scanner, doesn't sound great. At a large mobile home park NE of Portage requesting power cut to entire park, multiple casualties.

This has happened three times in a row now this year where a highly anticipated tornado risk in the central plains underperforms just for the very next tornado risk day further east to outperform expectations.

Yep, I go from breathing a sigh of relief from anything too bad in my area to being sick to my stomach about what I see the next day

The tornado in southern MI from that isolated supercell was a multi vortex wedge in its mature stage. A wedge? How long has it been since we've seen one of those? It's basically a meme at this point.

The usual of what happens when there's disasters. So much dramatization on Twitter. Usually take things for a grain of salt until a few hours after. Because right when something happens it's always "mass causality event or town was wiped away".

Casualties can include injuries, it doesn't always mean just fatalities. Additionally, scanner reports should always be taken with a grain of salt, as it's heat of the moment and people passing on what civilians have told them.
