Yeah that's what I'm suspecting. I got my chains in my car. So if worse comes to worse Ill hook them on and take the back roads back to my house after work if I can make it back to the building.

I have to take a work truck to downtown Birmingham so if i see things getting sketchy I'll have to hit the interstate asap. I'll be up bright and early to see what it looks like at 3 in the morning.

21z HRRR showing some freezing rain in my area Blount county /Jefferson county line at 8am/9am.

Seems like a trend of further coverage in central Alabama sooner. Just taking a peek at wbrc weather graphic. There's a few tight lines between drastic changes.
