Wouldn't be shocked if some of the Homewood etc damage was related to a small tornado embedded somewhere; definitely a small bowing/downburst type signature on velocity but there was briefly a small couplet and that section of QLCS had a history of trying to spin something up. Either way lots of snapped trees, very intense wind in that area

Hearing of possible tornado damage reported near the intersection of State Road 2710 and Timber Drive in Garner, NC. Not sure how severe.

There was a car flipped in the parking lot at the Hampton Inn on Lakeshore Drive in Homewood. Yep, probably small tornado.

I knew something was up in James Spanns live coverage when people in the comments kept saying something was happening in homewood. Was waiting on the morning pictures. Definitely looks like they got pounced by a tornado.

Really haven’t heard much out of Hendersonville, as of now, damage doesn’t look catastrophic thankfully all things considered. Hopefully it stays that way.

Well there we go, definitely makes sense seeing the concentration of rather significant tree damage and the car being flipped. Hard to warn for those QLCS spin ups but there was at least a pretty decent history of rotation on that segment
