I would HIGHLY recommend "watching" and enabling email notifications for the following page:

Any time someone created a new thread here (winter, severe, etc), you will get notified You can also enable notifications for when there is a reply you have not read. Be careful with those because I have had PAGES of email notifications while keeping up during busy severe events.

(Side note: You will only receive notifications when there is an unread reply. You will not get an email for every single reply UNLESS you are actively reading lol). In any case, would recommend turning those notifications on, 10/10.

I mean......that's what forums like this is for.

Does it sometimes get carried away in the wintertime? Probably. But it's not near as bad as it used to be before a certain group of members left to start their own site.

The GFS tonight had one of its most epic weenie runs ever. Two monster north Gulf lows blanket the southeast with heavy snow Feb 12th-16th.

6z gfs to 00z gfs has some form of freezing rain in my region, I really hope this isn't becoming a trend the snow melt/ice jam flooding alone will suck once we get above freezing again and we do not need power outages to top it off

The 00z GFS from Thursday had it as well. 6z today has hints of it (though further south) and even the 00z Euro is picking it out

18z gfs yesterday had 0.01in and now at 12z its shoes 0.95in, 6z is higher than 00z and 12z is higher than 6z, I do not like this trend

Been watching that. Was wondering if the surface is too dry to reach the ground in MBY. Dewpoint depression is about 13 currently.
