Weather Driven Allergies - Dust and Dander

Hello, I use Accuweather on my iPhone. It has introduced a 'Dust and Dander' meter which is Extreme today by me. I have always thought of Dust and Dander as an Indoor-only problem. How does outdoor air affect D&D? Is it mostly moisture driven? If so, air conditioning would be reduce risk? Thx, Dan
