It's that wonderful time of the year again! Time for March Madness 2018, both Alabama and Auburn are in this year's tourney along with 6 other SEC teams. Along with 9 ACC teams making it, many fans in Alabama and the Southeast will be watching this year's tournament.

I had to go to Yahoo! Fantasy Sports and find the bracket contest and enroll that way. The group ID is 64161(found at the end of the URL posted above) then the password is TalkBasketball2018.

Well that was a heck of a fun game. Nice to see Petty play that well away from Tuscaloosa. I fully expect to get rolled by Villanova on Saturday, but it sure is fun to be back in this thing.

And Arizona in the championship game kinda ruins my bracket. They got absolutely rolled by the 13 seed Buffalo tonight.

That was a great game. I would love to think we have a chance against Villanova but don't think it will happen. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Well, it finally happened! A number 16 seed beat a number 1 seed. UMBC beat Virginia.

Someone had a good night in Vegas! Put down $800 on UMBC money line (outright win) and walked away with $16000+ of the Venetian's money. Amazing night for sure!

someone also put down $12,500 to win $800 on a 3 team money line parlay of all #1 seeds, including Virginia.

Ouch.

I saw someone else who bet $1,240 on Virginia to win straight up that would have won them a whopping $12.

OUCH.

11 Seed Loyola Chicago is going to the Final Four. A lot of people are falling in love with 98 year old chaplain Sister Jean.
