I've been fascinated with Severe Storms since I was 8 or 9, almost 30 years. Over the last year or so I've began trying to understand models, soundings in particular....
Is there a site that breaks down how to interpret the info found in a sounding? I have a rudimentary understanding of some of it, any info to help me learn more would be greatly appreciated!!!

Congratulations on making our 1,000th thread on the new forum!

There's many good resources for interpreting soundings, I recommend you check out YouTube for video tutorials. I personally first used this http://www.theweatherprediction.com/thermo

Check out Rich Thompson’s forecasting workshops on YouTube (there’s a link in the Understanding Meteorology Resources thread in this forum). He gives a pretty detailed explanation in the first video of how to read Skew-T Log-P diagrams and hodographs and how to interpret and use the data.
