That is not the point of a TORE. A PDS warning was perfectly acceptable.

That’s not really the definition. You can have a strong tornado in a populated area without a TORE being warranted.

A tornado emergency means a strong tornado is going through (or expected to go through) a populated area. This meets the criteria.

I would say that any tornado on the ground is suspected of being EF3+ intensity by any NWS office, I would say a TE is necessary.

Low level Lapse rates are at 7c per kilometer with cape values well above 4000. Plenty enough to sustain these storms in a highly sheared environment, especially when storm mergers occur.

Yeah those SW Ok cells are getting close to those powder keg STP numbers. Yeesh lets hope it doesn't come to fruition but looks like this is gonna get even uglier.
