Well I was hoping it would be mostly hitting fields..

This side of Kansas like I mentioned earlier isn't just fields, there's several several dozen farmstead and houses spread out around the rural areas. Not just clumped up into these tiny, tiny village towns.

Absolutely insane how long this supercell has traveled and has just dropped tornado after tornado.

It began at the edge of the moderate risk area and has tracked through almost all of it just continuously producing monsters, showing no signs of slowing down either. One of the most impressive supercells I’ve actively watched for sure.

This is going to go either just to the north and clip it or go straight through Hutchinson if it doesn’t stop. This is a horrendous situation.

My lord this tornado is headed straight for Abbyville. Like directly head on. If I lived in Abbyville I'd be throwing my kids and family and driving straight east, away from this tornado. Not taking any chances, even if I'm in a basement.

The debris signature is around 3 miles wide west of Turon, KS. Incredible.

Debris easily surpassing 20k ft and possibly up to 30k ft, mind you this tornado is doing this while “only” hitting small homesteads instead of forest or towns.

I’m guessing several farmsteads have been wiped out in extremely violent fashion unless it’s somehow missed everything.

I seriously can’t believe this is happening. This supercell is as strong as ever, and has already dropped at least 5 significant-violent tornadoes. The ongoing tornado north of Preston, Kansas has a large debris ball, and it has likely wiped out several farmsteads. What an unprecedented day in western Kansas, a day that will be remembered for quite some time no doubt.

Unquestionably, a violent tornado. Will be very deserving of the 134mph EF2 rating that it receives.

This supercell has been riding HWY 61 for its whole path, and it's finally approaching the mixer where a whole bunch of towns are clumped together. Praying it somehow threads the needle and misses them all.
