Looks like it is passing just east of the town. I placed a red marker on the city's edge.

First responders are getting out of town, they're not evacuating people out of the town, from my understanding. That makes sense to me.

In that case, that would allow them to be better able to respond to damage and casualties, since their equipment will be less likely to be destroyed/buried under rubble/etc.

Greensburg almost had a tornado hit them back in 2008 as well. They’ve had a couple very close calls since the EF5.

That developing storm just south of the current one is already rotating. Don't know if it'll merge with the northern cell or end up maturing on its own but I don't like the look of it.
