Severe Weather Threat June 15-23

Last EF3 tornado in North Dakota was August 27th, 2016, but I hadn't realized it had been 15 years since the last EF4 in North Dakota which was on June 17th, 2010. You actually had 2 EF4 tornadoes that day.
The Berlin (Lamoure County), ND tornado of July 17, 2011 was also almost certainly violent, possibly extremely violent.

my god the bottom left image looks like stuff out of moore and jarrell
No vegetation left whatsoever. Craziness. The derecho probably did tons of damage but it's a good thing it caught up to those storms before they reached Fargo.
Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that was a plowed farmfield which was already barren to begin with. It was likely disturbed by the tornado though.

As a Midwesterner I can say farm fields are well into growth this time of year. Corn crop is already knee height (edit: its actually chest height lol). I think this was a grass field of some sort based on the vegetation just past all the mud.

I will say it's always hard to distinguish plowed field from large areas of scouring given how similar they look. Tornadoes really plow $hit up.
