Apparently today was the biggest severe thunderstorm warning day of the year. Happy 4th. 50 warnings concurrently happened at once.

Extremely classic elephant truck tornado near the Alpine creek lodge in... Alaska? Taken from Kraznavolgyi.

EDIT: Looking on maps this happened north of Anchorage, having a latitude that would have it be as far north as the southern tip of Greenland.

May be potential for a tornado or two in Manitoba today again. This tornado season has been consistently active compared to most. Although July-August is peak tornado season for Canada so this isn't necessarily surprising.
