Currently tracking a storm that has produced at least one tornado in the Sioux Falls area. The latest radar scan indicates the tornado has lifted for now but the storm is still TOR warned.

Storm is still moving east at 40 MPH with the towns of Rowena and Larchwood in the path.

The SPC has a 30/10 Tornado Watch out for east central SD and SW MN.

New TOR warning for central Murray County and parts of Cottonwood County in MN. Towns in the warning include Chandler (which was struck by an F5 tornado in 1992) Slayton, Currie, Dovray and Westbrook.

Edit: Also just noticed another TOR warning went up for Nobles County MN including Adrian, Rushmore, Worthington and Brewster.

FSD has more or less blanketed the line with tornado warnings (a common thing with squall lines as QLCS tornadoes form out of virtually nowhere)

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is reporting considerable damage in the Lennox area including vehicles pushed or thrown into a ditch along an interstate. Downed trees and power lines, roof damage and flattened crops are being reported as well and the entire city of Lennox remains without power.

This area of rotation in SD east of Spencer is pretty broad right now but if it tightens up it could produce a signficant tornado.

Lennox tornado rated EF1, winds of 95 mph. Path length and intensity were nothing to ride home about but at 400 yards wide, it was unusually wide for a QLCS tornado.
