Yep, especially nasty on the 0108 and 0111Z scans. Notably, I never really saw a TDS with the storm yesterday in NW TX off of KFDR while tornadoes were being reported, probably due to lack of debris to loft other than those few buildings it struck in Lockett. Just goes to show as powerful a tool as dual-pol/correlation coefficient is, it's not infallible. Rural areas of the South/Midwest usually have numerous trees, the Southern Plains, not so much.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT FOR CENTRAL
PIERCE COUNTY...

At 1003 PM EDT, a confirmed waterspout was located just offshore near
Bristol, or near Patterson, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed waterspout moving onshore.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornado will remain over mainly rural areas of central Pierce
County.

Well this is something you don't see every day.

Meanwhile, a second storm further southwest has gone tornado-warned and will pass close to the KVAX radar site.

Thankfully the earlier tornado threaded the needle between most of the towns in that area, but this new one could be an issue for Patterson.
