• Looks like our DeLorean hit 88 miles per hour a little too hard! A recent style update went sideways, sending us back to a retro look for a bit. We've parked that faulty future theme for now while we tinker under the hood.

Severe WX Severe Weather Threat 6/19-6/23/2019

A couple of incredibly bad phone photos of the storm.

First picture looking north to Dandridge area, velocity was really strong at a beam height around 3kft west of here. I haven't checked any power outages, but thought we may have seen a couple power flashes in the more intense part of the storm. Second is east of Pigeon Forge about a minute out. Thankfully it wasn't as rough here as I had anticipated.

Perfectly split down the middle with heavy showers in MS and severe to my east, so no precip here again. Impressed it made it this far south; BMX's precip maps changed a lot through the evening as it seemed to extend further west than expected.

Whoa. Didn't see that coming. Wow they're stacked up one after another. Admittedly, I like a good NW flow

Just gimme some rain off them to kill the heat, far as I'm concerned, garden still needs more water :p

The number of MCS stacked up and the westward pull of the Slight; I'd resigned myself to be west of the action again
