Severe Weather Threat 4/28-4/30

My dad slept through the warning that impacted his area and me calling 42 times during the 30 minutes of the warning. Sigh. He's fine, storm seemed to go south of him, but gosh I am worn out now. But now I can watch the rest of the outbreak without quite so much anxiety.
he probably ain't gon' answer if he really old.

Plenty of sunshine again in Minnesota. I wonder if there's enough daylight left to fix the thermodynamic situation. Also this is a high res image. Highly recommend zooming in and looking at the cloud structure. It's pretty.

The line of semi-discrete storms in southern MN have an outflow boundary jut out in front of them. Until that goes away, those will never produce tornadoes.
If you want to jump-start the chances of tornadogenesis, just have at least one of those cells ingest the OFB and see what happens...
