Severe weather threat 4/23/26 (Central/Southern Plains)

I always thought today was getting overlooked. We got insanely lucky the cap didn’t break in SW and Central Oklahoma

Yeah. I do think the SPC was right to go with an Enhanced Risk given the uncertainty of today's setup.

I feel that if the cap had broken all the way along the dryline, we could have very well seen 'what 5/20/19 could have been', if on a smaller scale.

It may not indicate numerous fatalities, but it is absolutely an indication of numerous serious injuries and destruction. Mass casualty is a significant activation of a large amount of emergency resources. It isn't declared without confirmation.

There is indeed a little loner SW of Oklahoma City. Unsure if it’ll do anything, but definitely something to watch.

Also pretty likely it hit these homesteads, or atleast some.

I should also note that the subdivision it cored was hit during the radar-peak of it. I absolutely DREAD what we see tomorrow in the daylight.

It can be activated for precautionary measures if an event happens that suggests it could overwhelm the hospital. It's also activated so it opens up more resources, such as requiring off duty EMS/FD/PD to respond.

The cell leaving Enid looks almost like it's inflating like a balloon on radar. I'm almost certain that it's becoming a high-precipitation supercell.
