Dude was probably taken aback that the surveyor was rude enough to neither say howdy nor offer him some dip.

(I grew up in a very rural part of PA so I'm not just indulging Southern stereotypes...)

In my opinion, excluding Vilonia, this has been the closest one to ending the EF5 drought. TLZK did a fantastic job with this survey and have given me a lot of confidence in the future of their ratings.

Pet peeve, but it is a front-end loader, not a bulldozer.

This was posted to Twitter with the caption “If this isn’t EF5 then I don’t know what is”. Yeah let’s just ignore that the entire property has essentially been bulldozed into an empty dirt lot with a slab. There’s even a freakin’ bulldozer IN the photo! Weather Twitter raises my blood pressure…

Honestly looking at the position of that bulldozer I wouldn’t be surprised if the damaged/lifted up slab was caused by it.

Has there been any more info about the earthquake that occured during one of the Mississippi tornadoes? I think it was Bakersfield, and it was like a 3.8 magnitude.

Edit: It was Magee and it was a 3.0.

I think it'll be another week or two before it's done considering the extent of all the other tornadoes.

If there’s 5 EF4’s by the end of this it’ll be the most violent outbreak so early in the year since 2008.

Update: We are now up to 38 significant tornadoes for the severe weather outbreak.
Crazy to see that a lot of the tornadoes that did touch town were all strong to violent. Definitely one of the most violent March outbreaks in a long time.

Actually it is 40 EF2+ tornadoes. 27 EF2’S, 10 EF3’S, and 3 EF4’S.

The total count is closing in on 100 at 94+.

The significant tornado percentage is approximately 42.6% of the total count.

This tornado outbreak is a verified high risk hook, line, and sinker.
