A little food for thought.
Is it still preliminary ef3?
A little food for thought.
I think actually think it’s been finalized. I’ll be surprised if we get another EF4.Is it still preliminary ef3?
Can't believe it even has to be said. Also, people should not be sharing leaks from NWS Chat in here.
Guys we have keep in mind that’s the same foundation that was shown earlier. These photos taken after extensive debris cleanup. The poster failed to mention that. Impressive none the less.Has that home been a surveyed? Or is that the 190 MPH home.
MEG surveying?
Yes, when debris is piled on or near the foundation but not strewn downwind, it’s usually indicative of low to mid-range EF4. Example: the Sandy Hook, MS EF4 from a few years back.West of Tylertown on the north side of 98, a well built,
well anchored home, was swept from the foundation, leaving debris
in a pile and thrown behind the home. This home was determined to
have 170 MPH EF4 damage.
Rookie question since I’m not as educated on actual damage surveys. Does the home having the debris still piled near it and not the slab swept completely clean and the debris granulated Preclude a higher end EF-4?
I feel kinda stupid for not noticing that at first lmao. Man jet lag really messes with your brain.Guys we have keep in mind that’s the same foundation that was shown earlier. These photos taken after extensive debris cleanup. The poster failed to mention that. Impressive none the less.
I seen that picture with debris concentrated near the foundation. It was down to the slab but the debris remained close to the foundation. It was also not granulated.Guys we have keep in mind that’s the same foundation that was shown earlier. These photos taken after extensive debris cleanup. The poster failed to mention that. Impressive none the less.
There is some granulation present but not everything was ground up. High end EF4 ultimately makes sense which is why they confirmed they aren’t considering an upgrade to EF5..I seen that picture with debris concentrated near the foundation. It was down to the slab but the debris remained close to the foundation. It was also not granulated.
So the high-end EF4 rating is probably lenient?Yes, when debris is piled on or near the foundation but not strewn downwind, it’s usually indicative of low to mid-range EF4. Example: the Sandy Hook, MS EF4 from a few years back.
Really @UncleJuJu98 ? WowThis event may break the top 10 in Alabama; for tornadoes in 24 hours. It'll be close.
No, that was in reference to the low-end Tylertown, MS EF4.So the high-end EF4 rating is probably lenient?
OK, I was wondering. No, that was in reference to the low-end Tylertown, MS EF4.
Been a while since we’ve had an outbreak this ferocious. There have been 35 tornadoes that have been rated EF2+ from this recent tornado outbreak.
24 EF2'S, 8 EF3'S, AND 3 EF4'S.
