had tornado crossed 100 yards in front of me on hwy 45 8 miles south of meridian . Wild , very weak, but it was there and gone in an instant.

We're finally seeing what today was always capable of. Let's hope this is an isolated incidence and not what we're about to see with other storms to the south and west.

I don’t necessarily agree - earlier we saw a pretty nasty event unfolding that took its foot off the gas pedal. It’s just ramping up again, and it looks pretty bad.

I doubt the tornado NE of Sipsey will do much. The inbound inflow/winds are in a very narrow/skinny band and I notice that storms with that feature don't tend to produce tornadoes.

Not sure if we have any members in Gordo, but everyone in that town needs to be in their shelter RIGHT NOW.

I’ve notified all family and friends. I’m a few miles away. They don’t have power but all are in their safe place.My gym is there. Was just there this morning.
