There are not a whole lot of tornado warnings but the ones that are are truly scary.
This is gonna be a long, dangerous event
Yeah seems like the showers in W AL. are still having a hard time getting their act together...74/64 now. Warming up, still cloudy, deeper moisture not quite here yet.
Mostly low/mid 70s temps with some upper 70s to around 80 in some places. Dewpoints are mostly in the low 60s to 70 in some areas. That certainly is high enough for strong/violent tornadoes. The only discrepancy is the temperature and dewpoint is pretty far apart but that will probably change later this afternoon.74/64 now. Warming up, still cloudy, deeper moisture not quite here yet.
Yeah I don't think it's done. It's weakening heavily. Gonna cycle soon, hopefully it takes its time and misses Bassfield since it's turning right towards it right now.
Yep, said headed towards Smithville. If I caught Ryan Halls stream correctly. There is a visible unwarned Tornado near Amory, MS.
Not all that surprising considering how violent that cell looked like on radar.Scary how we’re expecting more storms like this.
Max has a cam zeroed in on the areaYep, said headed towards Smithville.
